Compared with the early oxygen supply method by cylinder oxygen,the central oxygen supply system uses PSA oxygen generator to produce oxygen onsite, and then delivers the oxygen to the ward, operating room and other oxygen departments through degreasing red copper pipes and sanitary stainless steel pipes. Different oxygen users only need to insert the connector of the oxygen supply device (oxygen humidifier, ventilator, etc.) into the socket to supply oxygen. When not in use, unplug the connector of the oxygen supply device, or turn off the manual valve. It eliminates the cumbersome process of moving the oxygen cylinder around, so that patients can obtain and use oxygen more conveniently and safely, and can bring patients a good treatment experience. It can be said that in addition to ensuring the quality and supply of medical oxygen, the central oxygen supply can also effectively reduce the work intensity of medical staff and prevent oxygen leakage and waste.

Although the central oxygen supply has many advantages, as a set of gas separation equipment, it still needs special personnel to look after and manage it during actual operation to ensure the normal and effective operation of the system for a long time and prevent any situation where oxygen cannot be supplied with quality and quantity.  After all, the rights and interests of patients are so important that they cannot be affected by equipment problems. Hospitals also have the responsibility to ensure that all patients can receive timely rescue and treatment.
