PSA oxygen generator is favored by more and more hospitals because of its reliability, convenience and economy. People familiar with PSA oxygen generator may know that it is based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption to produce oxygen through the circulation of left and right adsorption towers. Under this working principle, long-time usage will lead to pulverization of molecular sieve; and it will affect the oxygen production efficiency and cause the oxygen produced failing to meet the industry standard. In order to prolong the service life of molecular sieve and produce qualified adequate oxygen, we can begin with the following points.

1. It should be ensured good surrounding ventilation and fast air circulation for the oxygen generation system room. In addition, low environment temperature will also lead to poor efficiency of molecular sieve. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the machine room not too could.

2. The tank surface of the oxygen generator shall be wiped and cleaned at least once a month. The cleaning work can be done during the low consumption period of oxygen in the hospital (choose the unit to clean according to the specific situation of the hospital). Turn off the power supply of the generator selected and wipe the equipment surface, but avoid allowing the liquid to penetrate into the connection surfaces of the oxygen generator during cleaning.

3. Check the equipment of the oxygen generation system regularly, check the oil level of the air compressor, and add oil in case of oil shortage; regularly check the drainage of the air purification equipment to prevent damage or blockage of the automatic drain.

4. Purge the radiator of air compressor, air filter and refrigerated dryer regularly every half a month to prevent high temperature from affecting equipment performance.

5. Check the air filter, oil filter, oil separator and lubricating oil of the air compressor regularly according to the manufacturer's requirements; replace the filter element of pipeline filter; do maintenance for booster sealing materials. It is recommended to ask professional oxygen generator manufacturers for professional technical guidance to avoid unnecessary equipment failure.
