Therefore, the demand for oxygen at low altitudes and high altitudes is different. The target of plateau oxygen production (or plateau oxygen enrichment) is to solve the problem of hypoxia. The solution is mainly to simulate the partial pressure of oxygen in the low-altitude environment by increasing the oxygen concentration. It can be approximated that for every 1% increase in the oxygen concentration in the air, the altitude decreases by 300-350 meters. Therefore, when the concentration of oxygen increases, the partial pressure of oxygen will be closer to the sea level area. Of course, the oxygen concentration is not the higher the better. The higher oxygen concentration will cause the indoor and outdoor oxygen partial pressure to be too different, making it difficult for people to adapt after going out, and it will also bring fire safety hazards and unnecessary oxygen waste. A more suitable oxygen concentration is about 23% - 26%.


In addition to the altitude, professional plateau oxygen-enriched generator manufacturers will also calculate the air consumption according to the local atmospheric temperature and humidity, and equip the air compressor with the appropriate power. In addition, factors such as the volume of the oxygen-enriched environment, the oxygen-enriched level of the room, the airtightness of the room, the opening frequency of doors and windows, the establishment of oxygen-enriched time, the flow of oxygen supply, and the oxygen consumption of personnel will also be comprehensively considered. It is these factors that are really used to distinguish ordinary oxygen generator.
