Technical requirements for Suction system in medical center
Return

The medical center suction system is a set of medical equipment, which makes the system pipeline reach the required negative pressure value through the suction of the vacuum pump unit, so as to generate suction at the terminal of the operating room, rescue room and ward for medical staff to use for treatment. Among them, the negative pressure source comes from the vacuum pump unit of the central suction station.

 As a set of medical equipment, the negative pressure system of the medical center also has strict technical requirements, as follows;

 1. The central suction system is composed of a water ring vacuum pump, a water-gas separator, a vacuum solenoid valve, an electrical control system, an ultraviolet sterilizing device, a vacuum buffer tank, a sewage tank, a gas distribution cylinder, and a pipeline system.

2. The suction unit adopts an integrated installation method, in which the water ring vacuum pump, solenoid valve, water-gas separator, pipeline fittings and electrical control system are all installed in one, which is convenient for on-site installation and debugging.

3. It adopts a dual unit configuration of one use and one backup unit. During normal operation, one vacuum pump can be used. When the working pump fails, the backup vacuum pump unit should be able to start automatically to ensure the normal operation of the suction system. The equipment selection specifications must meet the requirements of the whole hospital for the use of negative pressure air.

4. With ultraviolet sterilizing function, it can eliminate bacteria and microorganisms in the negative pressure gas, and the sterilizing power is ≥300W; it is fully automatic and does not need special personnel to be on duty.

5. The suction system must ensure that the pressure in the pipe cannot be higher than the ambient pressure under any circumstances. The negative pressure of the suction system is maintained between -0.02Mpa and -0.07Mpa, and can be adjusted arbitrarily within this range.

6. The suction system should have reliable grounding, and the grounding resistance should be less than 10 ohms.

7. The automatic electrical control system should have dynamic display of process flow, operation data storage and query functions, fault protection functions such as overcurrent and motor reversal, and alarm functions such as high water temperature, water shortage and abnormal pressure. It can send out sound and light alarm signals to remind relevant personnel to carry out maintenance and processing.

8. The data communication interface with standard protocol is convenient for remote monitoring and management of equipment.

9. Electrical control system: fully automatic control, touch screen operation, real-time display of parameters, fault protection, abnormal alarm, remote data transmission and other functions.

10. The electrical control system with integrated negative pressure has passed the electromagnetic compatibility test.

11. Equipped with 2 vacuum buffer tanks, each vacuum buffer tank ≥ 1m³.
